DES Training was created to provide safe and correct training methods for the new firearm owner as well as the experienced shooter. The NRA, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and North Carolina Justice Academy have certified our instructor staff in the safe training of firearms used in both recreational shooting and personal self-defense areas. Our mission is to provide a safe and controlled learning environment for all firearm users, from basic students to the advanced training of NRA Certified Instructors. DES Training stands ready to serve North and South Carolina as a resource for the knowledge, skills and awareness for firearm safety in both states.

Due to the increased demand for Instructor training we will no longer be able to reserve a seat in an instructor class with just a registration. To reserve a seat in Instructor training you will be required to pay in full by either check, money order or credit card thru a Paypal invoice.

NRA Range Safety Officer Course--Due to demand DES Training has added the Sunday June 28th class date for NRA Certified Range Safety Officer Training. If you are interested in attending please contact us ASAP.

New Week Day Class Dates--Due to demand DES Training has added additional Friday or Monday Concealed Carry Permit dates. Designed for citizens who are unable to attend Saturday classes. Week day courses offer the benefit of smaller class sizes. Conducted at the DES Training site in Rock Hill, this could be the training solution for your schedule!

DES Training is proud to announce we have a NEW training facility. We are now located at
649 Celriver Road
Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Our new 1,800 ft² facility now offers enhanced training, with a larger 30' x 20' main classroom and a 20' x 14' additional classroom. DES Training is proud to serve York County and the Charlotte-Metro area with quality personal protection and firearms training. SC CWP permit Classes and NC CCH permit classes are just the starting point for your personal protection training, call to learn about the Advanced courses offered by DES Training.

DES Training specializes in firearms education for women of all ages and experience levels.

DES Training is proud to offer NRA Instructor Level Certification courses in almost every discipline offered by the NRA. Our staff of instructors includes male and female NRA Training Counselors and NRA Certified Instructors, along with SLED and NCJA certified conceal permit instructors.
